Navaratri

The nine goddesses of Navaratri and their numerous figurative interpretations have long  been celebrated in the everyday stories in many homes of India.

This project is metaphorical representation of the energies of the 9 goddesses explored through form, stance,

words and a pastel palette.

The intention here is to create intrigue and appreciation for the wealth of stories embedded deep in the Indian mythology and also help one takeaway the deeper significance of invoking these energies during those nine auspicious days.
